Lucy starting teaching my daughter to ride in October 2011 and since then her riding has progressed so much that earlier this year she came first place in a show. As I was impressed by Lucy’s tuition I decided to take lessons myself and after 14 months I entered my first competition, something I could only have dreamt of a couple of years ago. Lucy can provide good tuition whatever your age or standard and in first class facilities. Give it a go!

My 10 8 and 6 year old children have all been taught by Lucy since the age of 5. She has always been there to help iron out any issues that we have and she found us our beloved first pony. I was quite unsure of riding again myself as an adult after a gap of 18 years but Lucy put me completely at ease – without her I simply would have been too embarrassed to start again! She has a lovely range of horses with wonderful characters and they are beautifully cared for. Now we have our own horses she still teaches us and she cares for them when I am away .I never have to worry as I know they are in capable safe hands. All horse After 15 years out of the saddle, I tried a number of stables before finding the perfect instructor in Lucy. She gave me the confidence to progress at my own pace while knowing when to encourage me to push myself. She identified and corrected problems with my position that no instructor has ever put right and within weeks I was jumping again. The lessons are fun and always reflect what I want out of them. I have been riding with Lucy for over two years during which time I have been cross country schooling, to own a pony days and even loaned one of her horses, as well a having lessons on a weekly basis. I love it. Throughout the two years my riding has improved a huge amount and that wouldn’t be without the patience, experience and help of Lucy. I first met Lucy when she came to help a horse at the yard who was very nappy and i was so impressed with the way she worked with her. I didn’t hesitate to send my 4 year old New Forest to her for breaking and she didn’t disappoint. She did a superb job and has had him back since for more schooling. She has always gone the extra mile and has even come out to my yard to help me when I had a few problems. Lucy is so helpful and always willing to give advice, she is always the first person I turn to. Her own horses are beautifully looked after and want for nothing. I have since taken my 4 year old Andalusian to Lucy for breaking and schooling and again she has done such a fantastic job with her. Lucy has also taught my partner to ride and is teaching my twins on little Breezy, they love her.
